Diane Low DL Designs BFA 1992 Atlanta College of Art (now Savannah College of Art & Design) graduated with honors. Independent Study-primarily printmaking, drawing and graphic design BS 1975 University of MO-Columbia, Fashion Merchandising Worked as an executive with Famous Barr-May Company, St. Louis and Joseph Magnin-California. A few years ago, frustrated when I couldn't find just the right necklace for my favorite outfit, I decided to do something about it. I began exploring jewelry design and found that it completely captured my creative soul. Working with polished nuggets of sterling silver or the muted tones of Thai silver, coupled with the depths found in semi-precious stones inspire me. I believe that a piece of jewelry should be something that is not just a joy to wear but also a joy to hold. I love designing pieces that are classic, unusual and versatile. Something that can be worn with that perfect suit or elegant eveningwear but looks great with jeans too. I work hard to find unusual stones and clasps, always looking for something different, something unique that makes one give a short gasp of delight. I hope they delight you as well. |
